Visit the Eternal City at your own pace and after spending the day wandering the ancient sites of the Roman Empire, or perhaps indulging in some retail therapy, you can spend a pleasant evening relaxing in one of the many excellent restaurants - trendy or romantic - the choice is yours.

Vatican and Saint Peter's Basilica Tour

The tour begins at the Vatican Museum, where the most extensive collection of art in the world is housed in 2000 rooms. Explore the Vatican, St Peter and the Sistine Chapel with this skip the line elite walking tour, there is not wait in line, the guide will walk you through it.

Marvel at the sight of the Sistine Chapel, one of the most famous and visited sites in the world and the most emblematic example of papal patronage during the Renaissance period. Thanks to the genius of Michelangelo, you will have an unforgettable experience. This great artist created the masterpiece painting on the ceiling, The Creation of Adam, as well as the incomparable Last Judgment, on the altar wall.

The expert guide will show you more artistic jewels such as the Pio-Clementino halls with the Laocoon and Apollo Belvedere, the Candelabra, Tapestries and Maps Galleries. We will then leave the Vatican Museum and proceed to Saint Peter's Basilica to admire, among others, the world famous sculpture La Pietà by Michelangelo and the extremely impressive Baldachin Altar by Bernini. This part of the tour ends in St. Peter's Square with the famous double Colonnade by Bernini.

Half Day Colosseum and Roman Forum Tour

We begin atop Colle Oppio ("Opium Hill") with a panoramic view of the Colosseum, modern Rome's most recognizable landmark and one of Ancient Rome's most vital social centers. From there we will descend to our special Skip the Line access to the Colosseum. Once inside, an expert guide will talk you through the bloody past of the amphitheatre as you listen to tales of gladiators, mock sea-battles and executions.

After a brief rest at the Arch of Constantine, you will arrive at the Palatine Hill- the most famous of the 7 hills of Rome. From here you will admire the views of the Roman Forum and Nero's Circus Maximus where chariot races were once held. Romulus and Remus were said to have been found on the Palatine by the she-wolf who nursed and raised them. Legend holds that Romulus went on to found Rome.

The last stop is a walk along the "Via Sacra" or "Sacred Way" which is the main path through the Roman Forum that once sparkled with festivals and triumphal processions. It ends at the Temple which houses the altar where Julius Caesar was cremated. Visitors from around the world still leave flowers and candles at this site today.

Hotel Turner is located in the center, in Porta Pia, one of the most important places in the history of Italy, across from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (Public Works), and close to the British Embassy and other embassies and consulates.

Located 900 meters from Stazione Termini and from the airport shuttle Terminal, the hotel is near the most beautiful urban park in Rome, Villa Borghese, which is a 10-minute walking distance. A 15-minute walk is what it takes to get to Teatro della Dolce Vita on Via Veneto, which dates from the '60s and is still one of the more elegant and exclusive ones.

The reception is open to guests 24h (those coming by car have at their disposal the convenient 24h garage with reserved parking just a few steps from the hotel), the fine marble staircase connects the lounge, which is decorated with antique furniture, with the bar and the breakfast room that has walls decorated with sumptuous silk damasks and at times with golden stucco decorations. Here guests can have a continental breakfast served as a buffet, for the enjoyment of the international clientele that comes to stay at the Turner Hotel.

In summer, the charming roof garden opens and you can spend a peaceful time sipping a drink or having a coffee.

We have tens of thousands of hotels available to us throughout the world and we fully accept that we might occassionally select a hotel that doesn't quite meet your requirements. You might prefer a different location or have in mind a particular hotel in mind that you would like to stay at. It is impossible for us to send you a quote for every possible hotel option so we usually provide a choice of two or three different hotels in each quote. We are always happy to provide you with other choices and the more information you can give us will help us in finding that sought after hotel that is "Just Right".



Payments

We have several very simple and straightforward methods available for receiving payment.

The most popular method is for us to give you a quick call, answer any final questions you might have, and take a debit or credit card payment. If you prefer, we are able to send you a Client Paymet Form that can be completed and emailed back to us.

We are also able to take payments by direct bank tansfer and would be pleased to send you our bank details on request.



As soon as we have received payment of your deposit, we will immediately begin confirming all the relevant flights, accommodation, tours and any other services.

Once your initial documentation becomes available in the booking system (usally within two hours of receiving your deposit) we will email this to you.

Your initial documents will usually include a Receipt, Confirmation of Booking, Flight Confirmations and Confirmation of Accommodation Reservations.

Occasionally, emails which contain attachments can be delayed or filtered out by your email provider. If you have not received your documents from us within 24 hrs, please let us know and we can resend them.
